About Peaks & Valleys

A little more about the practice

Peaks & Valleys Behavioral Health is a therapy practice with a primary focus on adult ADHD, while also supporting clients navigating anxiety, stress and burnout, trauma, depression, pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood.

This practice was created with the belief that therapy should be personal, collaborative, and individualized. Rather than approaching clients through a single diagnosis or predetermined treatment plan, therapy is shaped around the person, their experiences, and what they hope to change.

Why Peaks & Valleys?

Life has both peaks and valleys.

There are seasons when things feel manageable, fulfilling, and connected. And there are seasons when life feels heavier, more complicated, or simply harder to navigate. Sometimes those valleys come from major transitions or difficult experiences. Other times, they develop gradually as responsibilities accumulate and we lose sight of our own needs.

Peaks & Valleys reflects the belief that both are a natural part of life.

Therapy isn't about eliminating the valleys or trying to stay on a constant “high.” It's about having a place to slow down, understand what you're experiencing, and find support as you navigate whatever season you're in.

A Personalized Approach

Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. What works for one person may not be the right fit for another, so therapy is shaped around your individual experiences, goals, personality, and needs.

My approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, strengths-based approaches, and motivational interviewing. Depending on what you're working through, different approaches may be used individually or in combination.

Some of our work may be practical and focused on developing skills or strategies. Other times, we'll slow down and explore deeper patterns, relationships, or experiences that continue to influence how you see yourself and navigate your life.
